It serves an international group of neonatal OTs, PTs, and SLPs in order to advance the specialized knowledge and skills required to work in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

The conference allows attendees to experience leading-edge presentations on a range of neonatal therapy topics, interact with exhibitors who supply products and services to the field, and network with colleagues from around the globe.

Our Objectives

The NANT Team strives to offer all guests — attendees, speakers, and exhibitors an enriching conference experience built on NANT’s Core Values of excellence, connection, innovation, and service. This well-coordinated event delivers the latest neurodevelopmental science and clinical innovations while fostering a community of interprofessional teamwork, inspiration, and support. Participants will:

  • Identify current evidence related to neonatal therapy interventions utilized in the NICU.
  • Recognize interventions used in the NICU environment to support infant neuroprotection and neurodevelopment.
  • List evidence-based feeding practices and innovations for the neonatal population.
  • List strategies to foster early relational health and improve family-centered, developmental care in the NICU.

Our Audience

The NANT conference hosts over 600 registrants from across the neonatal care community, along with valued industry partners who provide the essential tools for exemplary NICU care. Conference attendees are primarily occupational therapists, physical therapists and speech language pathologists who serve premature and medically fragile infants in the neonatal intensive care unit. We are honored to welcome neonatologists, advanced nurse practitioners, neonatal nurses, respiratory therapists, dietitians, NICU music therapists, and parent advocates— all professionals who support neurodevelopmental care in the NICU are most welcome.
